Every child has something to say.

Communication comes in many forms. Speech therapy helps each child find theirs.

First, the truth

Communication is bigger than words.

Before a child ever says a sentence, they're already talking to you — with eyes, hands, sounds, and the way they pull you toward the thing they want. Speech therapy meets a child wherever their communication lives today, and helps it grow: language (vocabulary, combining words, understanding), clarity (being understood by strangers, teachers, grandparents on the phone), and social communication (turn-taking, greetings, asking for help, joining play).

The home advantage

You're the voice they hear most.

A therapist has your child for hours a week — you have the car rides, the bathtub, the bedtime stories. So you'll learn every strategy we use, and progress won't stay in our building. It'll show up at dinner. At grandma's. Everywhere.

The practical page

Plain answers, in plain sight.

My child isn't talking yet. Is it too late?
No. Earlier support helps — but growth happens at every age, and "not talking yet" is not "not communicating." A good evaluation starts with everything your child already does, and builds from there.
Will devices or pictures stop my child from talking?
The evidence points the other way: supporting communication in any form tends to help overall communication grow, not hinder it. Connection first; the form follows the child.
How is this different from school speech services?
School services are valuable and focused on educational access; clinic therapy goes deeper and more individualized. They work best together — with your permission, we'd rather collaborate with your school team than duplicate them.
Can speech happen alongside ABA and OT?
That's the entire design here: ABA, speech, and OT in one hallway, on one plan. A child shouldn't have to be three cases in three buildings.
When can we start? Will insurance cover it?
We open in Oak Creek in 2027 — the founding team is being assembled now. Insurance plan: Wisconsin Medicaid (ForwardHealth) + major commercial plans; credentialing is underway, confirmed list published as contracts land. Today: hello@fathomnorth.com — a human answers.
