If you had asked me a few years ago what my next business would be, I never would have said a pediatric therapy clinic.

Life has a funny way of changing your plans.

This one is personal — it’s being built just a few minutes from where I grew up.

The more I learned about autism, the more families I met, and the more clinicians I talked to, the harder it became to ignore what I was hearing.

Parents weren’t asking for perfection.
They were asking for consistency.
They wanted a place where their child could build real relationships instead of starting over every few months.
They wanted to feel like someone actually knew their child — not just their diagnosis.

The clinicians I talked to wanted many of the same things.
They wanted enough time to do their jobs well.
They wanted to build relationships instead of racing from one appointment to the next.
Most of all, they wanted to go home feeling proud of the work they did that day.

I kept hearing the same conversations over and over.

Eventually, I stopped thinking,
“I wish someone would build a place like that.”
And started thinking,
“Maybe I should.”

That’s how Fathom North began.

What if we built the kind of clinic families hoped they would find?

A place where children are known before they’re measured.
Where parents never feel like they’re bothering us by asking questions.
Where therapists are given the time and support to do the work they trained so hard to do.
Where kindness and great clinical care aren’t two different things.

I know we won’t be perfect.
We’ll make mistakes.
We’ll keep learning.
We’ll keep getting better.

But I can promise you this:
Every decision we make will start with one question.
“Is this what’s best for the child?”
If the answer is no, we’ll find another way.

We’re still building.
The walls aren’t up yet.
The therapy rooms are still empty.
We’re still searching for the right people to join us.

But I wanted our values to exist before our building did.

That’s why this website is here.
Not to tell you we’ve figured everything out.
Just to show you what we’re trying to build.
